The recent update to version 2.4 removes the countdown display from the icon badge, shifting focus to a more streamlined notification center experience. This modification facilitates the tracking of remaining days for registered events through targeted notifications.

Key features of the updated notification system include:

• The countdown of remaining days for each event is now prominently displayed within the Notification Center.
• Users can easily view both "days remaining" and "lapse of days" directly from the event list.
• The countdown notifications will activate when an application is launched, ensuring users are informed as deadlines approach.
• For events with a duration of 60 days or more, notifications will continue to post to the Notification Center throughout this period.
• A simplified inspection of days remaining is available through the event edit view.
• Users have the option to remove events from their list with a simple flick gesture.
